Composting Toilets

Eco Toilets composting toilets are either a flushless or flush self-contained toilet waste disposal system for installation in permanent and holiday dwellings.

The product is intended for use in areas where there is no public sewerage reticulation system or in localities where there are difficulties with high water tables or disposal of effluent by conventional ground soakage measures.

The toilets have been used in Scandinavia for over 68 years and over 85,000 units are installed throughout the world including Europe, USA & Canada.

Decomposition is an efficient natural process, using air, natural heat, micro-organisms & earthworms to convert solid waste into humus.

• Only 10% of the input volume remains as humus.
• Urine is drained off to a urine tank or Grey Water System
• No chemicals are needed
• Containers are ventilated to allow decomposition without smell

Developed from the original Clivus Multrum toilet

• 1000 litre container straight below the pan
• container is 1200 high x 1100 wide x 1800mm long
• non-flush toilet with urine separation

AQUATRONE

• Low-flush toilet
• Gravity and centrifugal separator of solids from water & urine
• Container can be placed away from house
• Can operate off existing flush toilet
• Container is 1600 high x 1100 wide x 1800mm long

We also supply Grey Water Systems and UV Purifiers to dispose of Grey Water and the leachate from composting container.
