Nu-Wall is an exterior wall cladding, manufactured in New Zealand from extruded aluminium. Nu-Wall is supplied pre-finished, requiring no further painting and minimising the requirement for ongoing maintenance. Powdercoat or anodised finishes ensure that the product will remain attractive and durable for many years, even in coastal situations.
Installation of Nu-Wall involves no specialist processes; a system of extruded flashing sections and components ensure a weathertight result. Nu-Wall has been appraised by BRANZ as being suitable for cladding buildings within the scope of Acceptable Solution E2/AS1 of the New Zealand Building Code.
Nu-Wall is extremely robust and resistant to impact damage. Furthermore, the aluminium will not rot, rust, crack, distort or become brittle through U.V. degradation. For either new construction or renovation, Nu-Wall’s long-term durability and low maintenance requirement make the product a compelling choice for exterior cladding.
Residential & Commercial Applications
Nu-Wall is suitable for use on both residential and commercial projects; the choice of profiles and finishes providing Designers with a palette to suit most applications. While the product’s standard installation specifications relate to residential and light commercial construction within the scope of NZS3604, resources are available to support application of the product outside of this. Nu-Wall has been used extensively for cladding a wide range of building types throughout New Zealand and Australia.
