FireGuard Automatic Fire Doors

Won-Door Fireguard horizontal accordion type fire doors offer a unique solution for many situations, such as lobbies where side hinged swinging doors are impractical - complying with fire code requirements.

The Won-Door Fireguard system satisfies critical safety requirements as regards protection of wide span openings without visual and physical barriers associated with traditional doors.

Capable of spanning height up to 7 metres with virtually unlimited widths, greater design flexibility is guaranteed.

The Won-Door system is unique in that it is installed in the normally open position in a concealed pocket behind a swing door which opens when the Fireguard door is activated. When not in use the doors stack away in shallow wall pockets.

The Fireguard door closes automatically upon activation of a smoke detector, fire alarm or even a sprinkler flow valve.

In USA FireGuard not only passed the rigorous UL 3 hour rating test but the heat transfer was so minimal and backface temperatures so low that officials could literally touch the unexposed side with their bare hands while the fire still glowed red hot at over 1000° C.
